Access to the website is through the following address: http://cfusion.sph.emory.edu. The Emory Public Health Employment Connection site is easy to use and navigate. On its main page you can already see the current job postings according to date.
If you are a public health professional, you can browse on the page and search for the job vacancy that you think fits your skills and experience. Application for the job does not require for you to log in. All you have to do is click on the job title and see the details like job description, company or organization, number of vacancies for that position, location, qualifications and closing date of the posting. You can also find details about the organization's address, contact person and information on how to apply.
You may also post your resume in the website. This would require you to create an account. To do this, just go to the Emory Public Health Employment Connection's website and click the Register button located at the left side of the screen. There you have to choose to create your resume and then fill-in your personal details. Important information are displayed in bold characters so make sure that the information in those areas are accurate. Once done, click on Submit, and then an email will be sent to the email address you specified, to verify your account and provide you with your account identification and password. You can then click on the My Resume button and log in using your account ID and password. There you can create a new resume, edit existing ones, delete or archive old ones.
Employers who need to post job vacancies need to create an account first, by also clicking on the Register button, choose to post job announcements, fill-in the details and an email will be sent that will verify your entries and give you the account ID and password. You can then go to the Employers Login site and create your postings, edit existing ones or activate archived or old postings. Job postings are displayed on the site for 30 days or when the posting reaches its end date. Once ended or after 30 days, postings are archived automatically.
Employers can also view resumes posted by public health professionals and check if these professionals are qualified for their current openings.
